...of course, 'tis like a mixed bag! we want everyone and everything to be with us, wherever we go, 'nd that too if we have to travel over 13,000 kms to set our footprint in an altogether different land...?! :D
right from the day one, when our mind begins to get adjusted to the fact that we are going to relocate, with our hearts carrying with us the cherished moments of our nears 'nd dears, we also have...
...the chaos involved in packing 'nd repacking of what we want or rather say, what we can take; to going thru' the checks that are required to have a happy journey; to hugging 'nd saying c' ya at the airport; to simply sitting all the way for over twenty hours, with a stopover somewhere in between, wondering ~ what are they doing back home? ...why can't they ever have a single terminal for the transit?... when will the flight land?... or how the new environment is going to be? ...phew, doesn't it already look too long a journey...? lol! ;D
as we get to know the new ~ place, our wonderful friends, food [trust me, the first thing that comes to our mind when we land after eating bread 'nd butter during the long haul, is the craving for our ever delicious home-cooked food with a piping-hot coffee! :P] ...the culture; the weather [after enduring only the hot, hotter 'nd hottest..we gotto be ready for the extreme ~ hot, rainy, chilly, cold, colder, coldest...]; next, the rules and regulations, especially, when driving here is with the left, on the right side of the road! ;) ...gradually, we begin to realise that it's almost the same as it was back home with the exception of a few things...
...we are still in touch with our loved ones, the scenario at our home is the same... waking up, cooking, working, spending time with our family, shopping, relaxing, enjoying over the weekends,...! :)
in simple words...live life as it rocks! ~ love binds us together, wherever we are, be it in madras or massachusetts! ;D
